Everything you need to know

Yes, MARINO provides comprehensive support for its employees regarding accommodation and travel. All employees receive FREE accommodation (2 person per room) during their project periods. Additionally, the company covers travel expenses, arranging and paying for transportation to and from the work site. This ensures that workers can focus solely on their tasks without the concern of logistical arrangements.

This commitment to employee welfare is consistent across various roles within the company, including positions such as foremen, metal construction assemblers, ship-hull assemblers, welders, electricians, and more. MARINO’s dedication to providing these benefits underscores its focus on creating a supportive and efficient work environment for all team members.

Yes! MARINO welcomes applicants with little or no prior work experience. We often have support staff positions available in construction, logistics, and manufacturing. These positions are suitable for both individuals and couples, and they provide a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while being supported by our experienced team.

MARINO provides all employees with a formal Lithuanian work contract. This contract includes full legal guarantees and benefits in line with Lithuanian labor laws. Employees are entitled to social security contributions, health insurance, paid leave, and other standard employment rights. The contract ensures stable and secure employment, giving you peace of mind while working with MARINO.

The duration of work rotations abroad varies depending on the project. Typically, rotations range from 4 weeks working abroad with 2 weeks at home, up to 10 weeks working with 2 weeks at home. We also consider individual circumstances, and if a worker needs to return home earlier due to personal reasons, we do our best to accommodate their situation.

Most applicants are initially tested remotely via phone or email by our Project Managers. However, for roles such as welders, pipe fitters, and assemblers, in-person testing in Klaipėda is required. Only candidates who pass these tests with the appropriate marks are offered work, ensuring that all employees meet MARINO’s quality and safety standards.

Usually, meals are not provided. However, on certain projects, MARINO has offered free meals to workers directly on the project site. Availability depends on the specific project and its arrangements.

No, you don’t need to bring your own tools. MARINO or the project client always provides the necessary work tools. We also provide a set of new work clothes, excluding shoes. Shoes can be arranged separately for an additional fee if needed.
