Prepared before they travel, supported while they work

Most of our specialists work far from home, so the basics have to be right before the first day on site. Colleagues in Klaipėda arrange documents, travel tickets and accommodation, and assignments follow a steady rhythm of 4 to 10 weeks on site followed by two weeks at home.

Safety on projects

Safety management starts before mobilisation

Safety management starts before a specialist leaves for the site, not on the first day of work.

01

Selection and preparation

Skills assessment at our testing centre in Klaipėda, personal protective equipment, workwear and tools, and all work and travel documents prepared before mobilisation.

02

Work coordination

We follow site safety requirements and procedures. Our site manager coordinates the specialists’ work, with continuous communication with the client.

03

Supervision

Our safety department supervises occupational safety on projects. Project managers control progress and quality, and team composition and shifts are planned in advance according to the project schedule.

Responsible employment

Conditions our clients can rely on

International clients increasingly look not only at a contractor’s competence, but also at the conditions its people work under.

01

European employment contract

An employment contract and social insurance for every employee.

02

Costs covered by MARINO

Travel, accommodation, workwear and personal protective equipment.

03

Salary paid on time

Salaries are paid on time and in line with qualifications.

04

Posted workers

For every specialist posted abroad we arrange an A1 certificate and apply the requirements of the EU Posting of Workers Directive: working and rest time rules, and advance notification to local authorities.

05

Professional development

We give our employees opportunities to develop and gain new skills.

Environment

Small habits, kept up every day

Our environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001, and the certification applies to all companies in the MARINO group.

  • We sort our waste, and have always done so.
  • Work clothing that can still be used is washed and issued again instead of being thrown away.
  • We use electric tools and non-polluting consumables where we can.

These are everyday practices rather than campaigns.
